CEO and Founder Craslyn Benjamin established Clarence Benjamin Group, Formerly Benlar Foods in 2015, following a successful test project to supply scotch bonnet peppers to manufacturers in Jamaica.
The company seeks to champion the vision of developing and promoting authenticity, innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in the global trade industry through their group of brands; Clarence Dutchie, Benlar Foods and Benlar Fusion. With food and beverage being our core industry of focus our brands offer Ready-To-Cook and Ready-To-Eat food products to consumers wherever they are. The company is a combination of innovative, high quality, efficient food technology and production and is committed to the

Craslyn Benjamin is a Serial Entrepreneur and Creative who began small backyard farming with her grandfather Clarence Benjamin and is now farming and producing on a global production level. She seeks to model and invest in the development of agribusinesses, agriculture and the health and beauty sector particularly through her company, Clarence Benjamin Group.
Craslyn has garnered over ten years of experience in the shipping and allied industry and has over eleven years of experience in export marketing and international trade. She has worked with companies such as the Pacific Coast Fruit Company (Oregon & Seattle), and Grace Foods International as a supply Chain Strategist distributing products within central Caribbean, Europe, and the USA. She has extensive experience working with mid-market and large enterprises facilitating restructuring, lean thinking, product innovation, lean business model and strategy development, new product development, recipe formulation and go-to-market implementation.
Craslyn holds a Diploma in International Shipping and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Caribbean Maritime University. She is an Official Richard Branson Centre Legacy Entrepreneur, UN Women MCO- Caribbean Yemanja Alumni and President Barack Obama’s Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Alumn

Orick Angus

Mr. Orick Angus is currently the Group Asset Manager for Ideal Group Corporation and Wealth Manager for Ideal Securities Brokers Company Limited (ISBL), a licensed investment institution and a member of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE). His professional background spans the areas of deal structuring and product innovation, investment banking, portfolio & asset management, sales, and investment research. Mr. Angus has over ten (10) years of experience in the financial industry and has tremendous skills and expertise in analysing financial markets. Mr. Angus holds a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the Edinburgh University in Scotland, the Financial Modeling & Valuation (FMVA) and Financial Planning & Wealth Management (FPWM) designations. He also holds a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), Finance & Economics (Hons) from the University of Technology, Jamaica and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation of which he is a registered CFA Level II Candidate.

Craig Jacas
Legal Counsel
Craig L. Jacas is an experienced attorney with a multi-jurisdictional practice that covers Antigua and Barbuda and Jamaica. He currently serves as a partner at Stapleton Chambers, a full-service law firm in Antigua and Barbuda, where he specializes in corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions, and probate and administration of estates. In Jamaica, he operates a commercial practice.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from The University of the West Indies, where he graduated with First Class Honours, as well as a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. With years of experience in the legal profession, he has established himself as a trusted advisor to a diverse range of clients, including small and large businesses, statutory corporations, and international/offshore entities in the financial sector.
In addition to his legal practice, Craig is a contributing editor for William H. Byrnes; Robert J. Munro, International Trust Laws and Analysis, Analysis of Company Laws, Antigua and Barbuda, and Jamaica (Kluwer Law International 2020). He also holds a certification in Corporate Governance from The University of the West Indies.
Craig is a member of the Antigua and Barbuda Bar Association and the Jamaica Bar Association, where he maintains a commitment to professional development and stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. He is also an executive member of Caribono, a network of professionals dedicated to offering pro bono services to underserved communities across the Caribbean.
Outside of his legal work, Craig is an aviation enthusiast and a foodie, with a passion for exploring the diverse culinary traditions of the Caribbean and beyond.
